Alleged Affair Between HR Chief Kristin Cabot and Astronomer’s CEO Andy Byron Exposed by Coldplay’s Kiss Cam.
The high-flying tech CEO faced a major public relations disaster during a Coldplay concert on Wednesday night, when a supposedly lighthearted moment turned into a highly embarrassing incident caught on camera.
At Gillette Stadium in Boston, lead singer Chris Martin surprised the crowd by introducing the classic kiss cam during the band’s performance. The unexpected turn of events shocked the audience, caused a viral sensation online, and possibly put a billionaire CEO’s career at risk.

The camera swept over the large crowd of fans, then settled on Andy Byron, the CEO of Astronomer, a software company valued at more than $1 billion, who was accompanied by his Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot.
The duo appeared very comfortable, almost too comfortable. Byron had his arms encircling Cabot, who leaned in with a smile. However, when they spotted themselves on Coldplay’s kiss cam, they suddenly became flustered and exacerbated the situation. Byron quickly released his hold and dodged behind a barrier, resembling a guilty man caught in the act, while Cabot covered her face with her hands, clearly embarrassed.
