Brooklyn, New York rap veteran Fabolous is back with another freestyle, and this time he’s bringing the visuals with him.
The Brooklyn MC has officially dropped the music video for “Lorena Freestyle,” giving fans another reminder that he still knows how to step to the mic and deliver when it’s time to spit. The new visual arrives as Fab continues to keep his name buzzing with fresh music and freestyles in 2026.
“Lorena Freestyle” has already started getting attention online, with hip-hop fans praising Fabolous for his signature flow and slick wordplay.
Reactions from listeners have been especially focused on the veteran rapper’s ability to jump on a beat and simply let the bars fly without needing an elaborate concept.
That has always been one of Fabolous’ strengths. Throughout his career, the Brooklyn rapper has built a reputation around punchlines, clever references and a laid-back delivery that allows his lyrics to do most of the talking. Apple Music describes his style as being rooted in sharp wordplay, timely references and the confident energy associated with his Brooklyn upbringing.
The new release also comes during an active stretch for Fabolous. Earlier this year, he dropped “Brooklyn Badness (WYFL Freestyle),” a freestyle that also received its own visual. The track was released in April 2026 and marked another recent example of Fab keeping the freestyle tradition alive.
For longtime fans, seeing Fabolous continue to release freestyles is nothing new. The rapper has repeatedly used the format to showcase his pen without having to follow the traditional album rollout formula. In 2024, he released the visual for “Selfish Freestyle,” flipping a Slum Village classic and reflecting on fake friends and putting himself first.
Now, with “Lorena Freestyle,” Loso is once again putting the focus where it belongs — on the bars.
The new visual gives fans another opportunity to watch one of Brooklyn’s most recognizable rap figures do what he has been doing for decades: talk slick, deliver punchlines and remind everybody why his freestyle game remains respected in hip-hop.
