Dallas Police Release Body-Camera Footage Shooting Involving Rep. Jasmine Crockett Security Guard.

The Dallas Police Department has released body-camera footage from a fatal officer-involved shooting involving a man who reportedly worked as a security guard for U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett.

The shooting occurred during a SWAT operation in a Dallas parking structure and ended with the suspect dead at the scene.

Police identified the man as Diamon-Mazairre Robinson, 39, who authorities say also used the alias “Mike King.” According to investigators, Robinson had been the subject of an ongoing search by law enforcement before officers located him in a hospital parking garage in Dallas.

The newly released footage shows officers approaching Robinson’s vehicle and ordering him to surrender. Multiple officers can be heard giving commands while taking cover behind patrol vehicles inside the garage. After several moments of verbal commands, Robinson exits the vehicle.

According to Dallas police, Robinson was holding a handgun when he stepped out of the car. Officers immediately fired multiple shots. Robinson collapsed near the driver’s side of the vehicle.

A SWAT medic moved in moments later and attempted lifesaving measures, but Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say the operation involved members of the Dallas Police Department’s SWAT team after Robinson was considered armed and potentially dangerous. Officials have stated that Robinson had several active warrants and had allegedly been involved in impersonating law-enforcement officers.

Investigators also reported recovering multiple weapons from Robinson’s vehicle as well as identification materials that appeared to resemble law-enforcement credentials.

Law enforcement sources said Robinson had worked in private security and had previously provided security services connected to the office of Rep. Jasmine Crockett. Officials noted that the congresswoman herself was not present during the incident and is not accused of any wrongdoing.

The body-camera footage was released as part of the department’s transparency policy following officer-involved shootings. The video shows the tense moments leading up to the confrontation as well as the immediate aftermath.

The Dallas Police Department confirmed that the shooting remains under investigation. As with all officer-involved shootings, the case will be reviewed by internal investigators and presented to the appropriate authorities for further evaluation.

Officials have not released the names of the officers involved in the shooting. No officers were injured during the incident.

Police say additional information, including investigative findings and forensic details, may be released as the review process continues.
