Fenix Flexin is back with another big collaboration, and this time he brought out some serious names from the rap game.
The Shoreline Mafia member has officially released the music video for “Run It Up,” his new collaboration with French Montana and Max B, produced by Purps On The Beat.
The official visual arrived Friday, September 18, alongside the release of the record across streaming platforms. The song is being released through FLEXXD UP ENT / EMPIRE.
“Run It Up” brings together three different eras and styles, with Fenix Flexin handling the record alongside French Montana and Max B. The song centers around getting money, stacking paper and enjoying the lifestyle that comes with making it out of the struggle.
Fenix opens the track with the repeated hook about being the first to “run it up,” setting the tone for the record before French Montana jumps in with his signature flow. Max B also makes his presence felt on the song, adding another layer to the collaboration.
The track has already been picked up as part of this week’s new hip-hop releases, with iHeart’s Rap Rising highlighting “Run It Up” alongside new music from artists including Offset, FERG, Yeat, Rakim, Kurupt and others.
For Fenix Flexin, the release comes during a busy stretch in his career. The Shoreline Mafia rapper has continued building momentum as a solo artist following the group’s recent run and his own recent releases. Earlier this year, Fenix also generated major attention with his solo single “Rubberz,” which received strong streaming and chart momentum.
The collaboration with Max B is also notable considering Max B’s long-running influence on the New York rap scene and his connection to the Wave Gods movement alongside French Montana.
Now, the three artists are bringing that energy together on “Run It Up.”
The official music video is available now, giving fans a visual to go along with the newly released track.
