Police in New York are searching for four men believed to be linked to a series of robberies in the Kingsbridge and Kingsbridge Heights neighborhoods of the Bronx. The incidents occurred throughout September 2025.
The first reported case took place on September 9 around 5:10 a.m., when a 21-year-old man was confronted outside a building on Sedgwick Avenue. The suspect demanded his belongings, but the victim dropped his keys and the suspect fled without taking anything. No injuries were reported.
On September 25 at about 4:35 a.m., a 34-year-old man near Reservoir Avenue and West 197th Street was allegedly approached by four individuals. The group assaulted him — punching and kicking him — before stealing his iPhone, AirPods, and a North Face jacket.
Two days later, on September 27 at approximately 12:56 a.m., an 18-year-old man on Claflin Avenue was confronted by two assailants who assaulted him and stole his backpack, watch, and wallet. They fled the scene on foot.
Authorities say the suspects were last seen running from the areas of the crimes and are urging anyone with information to contact police.
The pattern of early-morning robberies has raised concerns among residents, emphasizing the need for caution when walking alone during late-night or early-morning hours.
