Island Boys Rapper Flyysoulja Caught on Bodycam After Walgreens Theft Arrest in Florida.

A new police bodycam video is making its rounds online after Island Boys rapper Flyysoulja, whose real name is Alex Venegas, was arrested in Broward County, Florida, over an alleged shoplifting incident at a Walgreens.

According to reports, the incident dates back to March 20, when police say Venegas allegedly walked into a Walgreens location on West Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Hallandale Beach and attempted to leave the store with merchandise he had not paid for.

Investigators allege the rapper concealed several personal care products inside his pants before walking out of the store. The items reportedly included Aquaphor, therapy cream, a disposable razor, Vaseline and lotion.

The total value of the merchandise was reportedly $75.45.

Although the alleged incident happened months ago, the situation recently resurfaced after authorities released bodycam footage showing the rapper’s arrest.

Venegas was reportedly taken into custody on November 2 and charged with petty theft in connection with the incident. Reports indicate he was later released after posting bond.

The arrest has sparked conversations online, especially considering the rapper’s public profile as one half of the viral internet duo known as the Island Boys.

Flyysoulja and his twin brother, Kodiyakredd, became internet sensations after their viral freestyle videos took over social media in 2021. Their distinctive hairstyles, tattoos and catchy music helped turn them into recognizable internet personalities.

Now, Flyysoulja is back in the headlines for a very different reason.

As the bodycam footage continues circulating online, social media users are reacting to the unusual circumstances surrounding the alleged theft, with many questioning how a rapper with a recognizable public profile ended up facing a petty theft charge over merchandise reportedly worth less than $100.

At this time, the allegations remain accusations, and Flyysoulja is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
