The Harlem rap veterans have officially dropped the music video for “Stop Playing With Us,” one of the standout tracks from the new Double Trouble project. The record brings together Jim Jones with JR Writer, Hell Rell and Duke Da God, giving longtime Dipset fans another dose of that classic New York energy.
Released as part of Double Trouble on August 28, “Stop Playing With Us” clocks in at roughly four-and-a-half minutes and is officially credited to The Diplomats, JR Writer, Hell Rell, Duke Da God and Jim Jones.
Now the record has received the visual treatment, with the official video directed by Panoramic Films 8149. The video arrives as part of a bigger moment for JR Writer, Hell Rell and Duke Da God, who have been putting serious work into bringing that old-school Dipset flavor back to the forefront.
For fans who remember the height of the Dipset movement, seeing these names together again is enough to bring back memories of an era when Harlem dominated New York hip-hop.
