Authorities say the 37-year-old suspect was identified through surveillance footage and was already known to detectives from previous cases involving similar Ejaculating allegations.
A disturbing incident inside a Miami-Dade Ross Dress for Less has led to the arrest of a 37-year-old man after authorities accused him of leaving a bodily fluid on a female employee while she was working inside the store.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, Sean Edward Uribe was taken into custody this week in connection with an incident that allegedly happened on August 14 at a Ross store near Southwest 137th Avenue and Miller Drive.
Authorities said the situation began when another employee noticed Uribe walking around the store in what she described as a suspicious manner. According to the arrest report, the witness allegedly saw Uribe touching himself over his clothing before positioning himself behind another female employee who was working in an aisle.
Deputies said the witness then observed Uribe with his hands near his crotch before an unknown liquid was allegedly sprayed or discharged onto the victim’s clothing.
When the witness approached her co-worker and informed her about what allegedly happened, authorities said they discovered a cloudy, sticky substance on the back of the victim’s shirt and pants.
Detectives later told Local 10 News that the substance was consistent with semen. The victim was reportedly left shocked and upset by the incident.
According to investigators, surveillance footage from inside the Ross store played a major role in identifying the suspect. Detectives said they were able to recognize Uribe because of their previous familiarity with him and what authorities described as a similar alleged pattern of behavior.
The witness later identified Uribe in a photo lineup, according to authorities.
Uribe was arrested Monday and charged with battery. Authorities also said he was accused of violating probation. As of Friday morning, he was being held at the Metrowest Detention Center, according to Local 10.
The case has also brought renewed attention to Uribe’s previous encounters with law enforcement.
In 2024, Uribe was arrested in connection with another alleged incident inside a Ross Dress for Less in Miami-Dade County. In that case, authorities accused him of using a medical syringe to place an unknown liquid on the clothing of a young shopper. Investigators said surveillance video and evidence recovered during their investigation led to his arrest on multiple charges.
Authorities have not said whether additional victims may be connected to the latest investigation. However, detectives are asking anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Uribe to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers.
The bizarre allegations have quickly caught the attention of South Florida residents, especially because the latest arrest comes after previous cases involving similar accusations.
As the case moves through the court system, the allegations against Uribe remain accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
The investigation remains ongoing.
