After a dispute at a McDonald’s in Eastpointe, Michigan, a 26-year-old worker, who was dismissed early, came back to the store and fatally stabbed her supervisor, Jennifer Harris.
A witness stated that the employee departed briefly, returned sporting a mask, and then proceeded to stab the victim.
The video depicts the employee driving in her car while wearing her preferred Chucky mask filter. Although it’s uncertain which mask she had on before fatally stabbing Harris, the footage provides some insight.
A customer in the drive-thru, who was legally carrying a firearm, fired a warning shot to intervene and prevent the suspect from fleeing.
Police credit the customer’s actions with ensuring the suspect was apprehended. The suspect is expected to be arraigned.
The incident has shocked the local community and raised concerns about safety in public places. McDonald’s has stated they are cooperating fully with the authorities in their investigation.
The victim’s family has set up a fundraiser to cover funeral expenses and support her children. The employee is currently in police custody awaiting trial for her alleged actions.
The restaurant remains closed as authorities continue their investigation.
