‘She was the best mom anybody could ever ask for.’

An Eastpointe McDonald’s employee stabbed a coworker, a mother of six and manager, after a dispute on Thursday, as reported by the police.

Jennifer Jamma Harris, aged 39 and a single mother, has been employed at McDonald’s for 15 years.

Antonia Griffin, the eldest daughter of Jennifer, expressed that her mother was the finest mother one could wish for. She emphasized that her mom tirelessly worked every day solely for their family until her tragic passing while trying to provide for them.

The police responded to a stabbing and a report of a gunshot at the McDonald’s on 9 Mile and Schroeder Avenue, occurring shortly before 8 a.m.

Investigators report that Harris and the assailant engaged in a physical altercation prior to the worker being dismissed early on Thursday morning. The worker purportedly came back a few hours later armed with a kitchen knife and proceeded to stab Harris several times, according to law enforcement.

A licensed CPL holder with a gun intervened in the dispute by firing a shot to halt the violence, preventing anyone from being hit by the bullet.
