Miami woman accused of allegedly taking $135K in jewelry and cash from men she dated.

A Miami night out allegedly turned into a very expensive morning for multiple men after police accused 21-year-old Deziree Hood of stealing more than $135,000 worth of jewelry and cash from men she met at a local strip club.

According to Miami police, Hood allegedly met the men at Booby Trap on the River before going back to their homes or an Airbnb with them. Investigators say the alleged thefts happened after the men eventually fell asleep.

Hood has now been hit with additional felony charges connected to the alleged incidents.

One of the cases reportedly happened on August 9th, when a man was celebrating his birthday at Booby Trap on the River.

According to an arrest report, the man met a woman at the club and eventually left with her and his brother. The group reportedly went back to an Airbnb, where they continued drinking.

At some point, the victim reportedly placed his two gold chains on the bathroom counter before taking a shower and going to sleep.

That’s when things allegedly went left.

The victim’s brother reportedly saw the woman leaving the Airbnb while talking on the phone. He woke his brother, who then went into the bathroom and discovered that his chains were gone.

Police say the two gold chains were worth approximately $110,000.

Investigators later collected fingerprints connected to the case. According to police, the prints allegedly came back as belonging to Hood. Surveillance footage from Booby Trap also reportedly showed Hood leaving the club with the victim that night.

Police say the investigation didn’t stop there.

Authorities also connected Hood to another alleged theft that reportedly happened in September.

According to investigators, a man and his friends were at Booby Trap when they met Hood and another woman. The women were eventually invited back to the man’s home.

Once again, police allege that the group continued drinking before the victim went to sleep.

When he woke up, Hood and the other woman were reportedly gone.

The victim then discovered that property had allegedly been taken from his vehicle.

On September 16, he reported that approximately $25,400 worth of jewelry and cash  was missing.

Combined with the $110,000 in gold chains from the August incident, the reported losses in those two cases total approximately $135,400.

The latest accusations come after Hood was already facing felony charges from earlier incidents in South Florida.

In May, authorities accused Hood of stealing expensive items from two other men after encounters involving hotels and nightlife spots.

In one of those cases, police alleged that a man became disoriented after drinking a beverage Hood gave him. Investigators said he later tested positive for benzodiazepines and reported that his $14,000 Rolex Oyster Perpetual had disappeared.

Police also alleged that Hood later posted a photo on social media wearing the Rolex.

In another May case, investigators accused her of taking approximately $60,000 worth of jewelry and designer clothing from a man after they went back to a hotel. Surveillance footage allegedly showed Hood leaving the building carrying a large bag.

Following the latest allegations, police say Hood eventually turned herself in with her attorney.

She was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, and a judge set bond at $15,000 in connection with the newer case.

Court records indicate the new allegations include second-degree grand theft charges**, while Hood was already facing other felony allegations from the earlier cases.

For now, these remain allegations, and Hood is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

But investigators are clearly looking at what they believe could be a pattern: meeting men through nightlife, going back with them after drinking, and allegedly taking expensive belongings while they were asleep.

And with police now connecting Hood to multiple alleged thefts, the case is far from over.
