Ja’kaleb spell known online as “Lil Spell” allegedly went on Facebook Live and confessed to killing the mother of his child, Ari P. Kari, claiming she was set to testify against him in a separate homicide investigation.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Montgomery, Alabama, and was allegedly connected to claims that Kari had cooperated with investigators in an earlier homicide case.
Videos from the livestream and its aftermath quickly spread across social media.
After the shooting, Spell reportedly posted multiple Facebook Live videos in which he discussed his alleged motives and referenced previous criminal accusations.
Law enforcement officials and local community sources later confirmed that Spell died by suicide at a cemetery.
Authorities continue to investigate the full sequence of events, including any potential links between the deaths and prior homicide cases in Montgomery.
