Offset drops “Every Night” with Don Toliver as GMFU rollout officially begins.

Former Migos OffSet just dropped his latest track, “Every Night,” featuring Don Toliver, giving fans another preview of what he has been cooking up for his upcoming album GMFU.

And yeah… Offset might have another one on his hands.

“Every Night” comes in at just under three minutes, but the track wastes no time getting into its late-night, melodic vibe. Offset handles the rap side of the record while Don Toliver brings the smooth vocals that have become one of his trademarks.

The combination actually makes a lot of sense.

Offset has spent years proving that he can make straight-up trap records, but he has also shown that he knows how to switch his sound up when the beat calls for it. Don Toliver, meanwhile, has built an entire lane around atmospheric production, catchy melodies and that psychedelic R&B sound.

Put the two together and “Every Night” feels like something designed for the speakers after midnight.

The new song comes as Offset continues building toward GMFU, his upcoming project that is expected to give fans another look at where he is taking his music.

The rapper has been through plenty of changes over the past few years, both personally and professionally. But musically, Offset continues to move like somebody who has something to prove.

That hunger can be heard throughout his recent work.

Instead of trying to recreate the exact sound that made Migos one of the biggest groups in hip-hop, Offset has continued carving out his own identity as a solo artist.

That has meant experimenting with different production, working with artists outside of his normal circle and finding new ways to blend rap with melodic records.

“Every Night” fits right into that direction.

If there was one artist who could slide onto this type of record and make it sound even smoother, Don Toliver was probably one of the best choices.

Toliver has become one of the most recognizable voices in modern hip-hop and R&B, and his ability to turn a simple melody into a hook that sticks in your head has become one of his biggest strengths.

His presence gives “Every Night” a completely different feel than a traditional Offset record.

Instead of sounding like Offset simply grabbed another rapper for a feature, the collaboration feels intentional.

The two artists occupy different musical spaces, but that difference works.

Offset brings the edge.

Don Toliver brings the melody.

And the production ties everything together.
