Rapper Nasir Jones bka Nas took to his Instagram page today to report that his friend legendary rap-star Prodigy, real name Albert Johnson,
of MobbDeep has passed away at the age of 42 years old.
Prodigy, is an American rapper and one half of the hip hop duo Mobb Deep with Havoc. He is the great-great-grandson of the founder of Morehouse College
The rapper was hospitalized a few days ago from “complications caused by a sickle cell anemia crisis,” according to a statement from a representative.
