Rick Ross is back outside — and the Miami rap boss wasted little time getting back to the music.
After being released from jail following his Thursday arrest in Miami Beach, Ross is once again putting the spotlight on his music, including his track “Do It One Time” featuring Young Breed and DJ Nasty.
The song is featured on Ross’ latest studio album, Set In Stone, which was released in July 2026. “Do It One Time” appears as the 18th track on the 19-song project and brings together Ross, longtime collaborator Young Breed and Miami DJ Nasty.
The official visualizer for the record was released on Rick Ross’ YouTube channel in July and has continued picking up views. The song was released through Maybach Music Group under an exclusive license to gamma.
Now, following his release from custody, Ross appears to be getting right back to business and reminding fans that the music isn’t stopping.
Ross was arrested Thursday in Miami Beach and faced charges of felony battery by strangulation and misdemeanor battery. According to an arrest affidavit, a woman reported an alleged August 28 incident at Ross’ Star Island residence. Ross surrendered to authorities Thursday morning and was later released on bond. He has denied the allegations.
The arrest quickly became a major topic online, especially because Ross’ latest album had already put him back in the spotlight this summer.
Despite the legal situation surrounding him, Ross appears focused on keeping his music moving. His Set In Stone album marked his return to solo album territory after Richer Than I Ever Been, and the project features appearances from artists including T.I., French Montana, Max B, Gucci Mane, Kodak Black, Jeezy, Don Toliver, Yung Miami and The-Dream.
“Do It One Time” also has a strong Miami connection. DJ Nasty, who appears on the record, is a Miami-based DJ, and Ross previously discussed the song during a July interview about Set In Stone, describing the record as representing the Magic City alongside Young Breed and DJ Nasty.
For Ross, the timing gives the record another moment in the spotlight.
The song may have originally dropped months ago, but Ross’ renewed promotion of it after his release is bringing fresh attention to the track and its visualizer. Fans who missed it when Set In Stone arrived in July are now getting another reason to check it out.
With the legal case still developing and Ross already back in the public eye, it looks like the Maybach Music boss isn’t letting the latest headlines completely derail his music rollout.
