Shocking Dog Groomer Abuse Caught on Video in NC

Footage captures a North Carolina pet groomer abusing dogs by slamming them against the wall while at work, authorities said.

Kirsten Rhea Taylor, 28, was taken into custody on Thursday in Mooresville. She faces four charges of felony animal cruelty for her involvement in harming dogs at Classy Critters, a local grooming establishment, as confirmed by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Department.

Campbell stated that on July 18, officials were informed about two videos shared on social media by a coworker who was worried. The videos depicted an employee named Taylor allegedly mistreating and hitting dogs while grooming them.

Campbell indicated that these dogs had been confirmed as clients’ pets brought in for regular check-ups. The footage uncovered disturbing actions directed at a minimum of four different dogs being handled in an evidently aggressive and abusive way.

Campbell did not provide the timing of Taylor’s arrest. However, in his update, he verified that the woman was arrested and faced four felony animal cruelty charges.
