On October 21, 2025, deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report from a local Bank of America branch.
When they arrived, they learned that a couple had attempted to cash two checks totaling more than $8,000. The banker recognized that the account had previously been flagged for a similar incident at another branch and managed to stall the pair while contacting authorities.
Zeudy Gallardo Garcia, 33, and a male companion were later charged with one count of felony uttering a forged instrument.
