Video shows Tennessee teen pepper spraying her teacher after he confiscated her cell phone.
Footage taken during class on Friday at Antioch High School shows the moment a student confronts her teacher after her phone was taken away as a disciplinary action.
The incident has caused outrage on social media platforms. The video was originally shared on Reddit shows the student pepper spraying her teacher twice.
The student was reportedly “texting and Googling answers for her school work” when the teacher took away her phone.
The student is an adult, and this is not the first time such an incident has occurred at the high school. Two months ago, the same teacher was punched in the face when he confiscated another student’s phone when the latter was caught cheating. Some Reddit users claim that incidents of assault are quite common at the particular high school.
