Swae Lee and French Montana are back together with a stylish new visual for “SUITCASE,” bringing their longtime musical chemistry back to the screen in one of the latest releases from Swae Lee’s debut solo album, SAME DIFFERENCE.
Released on August 25, 2026, the official music video gives fans a cinematic and playful take on the track, combining luxury, travel and dreamlike visuals with the unmistakable energy of both artists.
“SUITCASE” marks another collaboration between Swae Lee and French Montana, whose partnership previously produced the massive global hit “Unforgettable.” The two artists bring that same relaxed chemistry to the new track, with Swae Lee handling the melodic side of the record while French Montana adds his signature rap delivery.
The song originally appeared on SAME DIFFERENCE, Swae Lee’s 16-track debut solo studio album, released in April 2026 through Eardruma Records and Interscope Records.
The album features an impressive list of collaborators, including Post Malone, Jhené Aiko, NAV, Rich The Kid and Swae Lee’s Rae Sremmurd partner Slim Jxmmi.
Directed by Austin McCracken, the video takes a creative approach to the song’s travel-focused theme.
The story begins with Swae Lee working at a fictional airport operation called Swae Airlines. A passenger’s luggage is flagged, setting off a sequence that quickly moves the video from an airport setting into a surreal world.
When Swae opens the suitcase, the visual shifts into a dreamlike environment featuring designer fashion and glowing Northern Lights. From there, the video follows the artists through a series of lavish and imaginative locations.
French Montana eventually enters the story outside a nightclub, surrounded by an entourage, while the video continues leaning into the song’s themes of travel, luxury and excess.
One of the most memorable images comes later in the video, when Swae Lee and French Montana appear on top of a massive stack of Louis Vuitton suitcases—turning the song’s title into a literal visual centerpiece.
The video’s travel concept also reflects Swae Lee’s own experiences on the road.
Speaking about the release, Swae Lee described his travels with French Montana and joked about how quickly his luggage collection can grow while visiting different countries.
The idea fits naturally with “SUITCASE,” a song built around the lifestyle, movement and luxury associated with traveling around the world.
“SUITCASE” is track eight on SAME DIFFERENCE, which contains 16 songs and represents Swae Lee’s first official solo studio album. The project showcases his melodic approach while moving across hip-hop, pop and genre-blending sounds.
Other collaborations on the album include “NO CALL NO SHOW” featuring NAV, “MURAL” featuring Jhené Aiko, “DON’T EVEN CALL” featuring Rich The Kid, “WORKING REMOTE” featuring Slim Jxmmi and “TAKE MY HEART” featuring Post Malone.
The release of the “SUITCASE” video also comes during Swae Lee’s SAME DIFFERENCE European tour. The 16-city run has included stops across countries such as Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic, Germany and Denmark, with the tour scheduled to conclude August 29 in Szeged, Hungary.
