Tee Grizzley Drops Official Video for “How” From New Album They Forgot.

Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley has released the official music video for “How,” one of the standout tracks from his latest album, They Forgot.

The new visual arrived  giving fans another look at the latest era of Tee Grizzley just days after the release of his new project.

“How” appears as the third track on They Forgot, a 16-song album that officially dropped on September 25 through 300 Entertainment. The project features a handful of notable collaborations, including Skilla Baby, Ashanti and Hurricane Wisdom.

The song itself finds Tee Grizzley reflecting on his rise, the people who have been around him, and the way his life has changed since becoming one of Detroit’s biggest rap stars.

The record carries a personal tone as Grizzley questions how certain people can forget about those who were there before the success. He also touches on his family, his father’s death, his responsibilities and the changes that came with his career.

That theme fits directly into the bigger message behind They Forgot.

The album has Tee revisiting different parts of his journey while reminding listeners of the experiences that helped shape him. Apple Music describes “How” as one of the tracks where Grizzley looks back on the details of his come-up.

The new video continues Tee Grizzley’s push behind the album. Rather than letting the project sit after its release, the Detroit rapper has continued giving individual songs their own visual treatment.

Before “How,” Grizzley had already been building momentum around the project with videos for songs including “Rain,” “Robbery 10,” “No Effort 2” and “Back Ina Yams.” “Rain” features Skilla Baby and Ashanti, while “Hard Times” features Hurricane Wisdom.

They Forgot is Tee Grizzley’s seventh studio album and contains 16 tracks running approximately 46 minutes. The album’s tracklist includes “99 Ovrall,” “Back Ina Yams,” “How,” “Locked Up In Mexico,” “Orphan,” “Detroit Public Schools,” “Survival Skills,” “Grizz They Need You,” “Robbery 10,” “Rain” and “Finally Made It.”

The project also continues a major stretch in Grizzley’s career as he approaches a decade since his breakout.

The Detroit rapper first exploded onto the national scene with “First Day Out,” which helped establish him as one of the most recognizable voices to emerge from Detroit’s rap scene. His storytelling and street-focused records have remained a major part of his musical identity.

Now, with They Forgot, Grizzley is showing that he still has plenty to say.

The release of the “How” official video gives fans another reason to revisit the album and puts more attention on one of the project’s more personal tracks.

With more visuals potentially on the way, Tee Grizzley’s They Forgot rollout is clearly still moving.
