According to www.xxlmag.com Authorities have apprehended a second suspect in connection with the armed home invasion that occurred at rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Florida residence in November 2025.
The arrest follows an ongoing investigation that has linked multiple individuals to the incident through surveillance footage and corroborating evidence recovered during a law enforcement operation.
The individual identified as the second suspect has been named Sergio Andrade, an 18-year-old male. He was arrested on January 31, 2026, and has been charged with a series of felony offenses in relation to the incident, including: Home invasion with a firearm, False imprisonment/kidnapping and Grand larceny.
Authorities indicated that the charges reflect the serious nature of the alleged conduct and the potential risk posed to occupants during the incident.
The home invasion occurred while Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose legal name is Daniel Hernandez, was not present at the residence. According to reports from law enforcement, three armed and masked individuals forced entry into the home, located in Florida, and detained a family member at gunpoint. The assailants reportedly searched the property for cash, valuable items, and vehicle keys.
While the rapper himself was not present during the intrusion, the incident has drawn significant public attention due to the violent nature of the crime and the high-profile status of the victim.
Investigators have stated that the arrest of the second suspect was the result of extensive investigative work, including analysis of surveillance footage and evidence recovered during a subsequent law enforcement operation. The second suspect’s arrest reportedly followed a SWAT raid at an apartment associated with the individuals involved.
During the operation, authorities reportedly recovered items believed to have been taken during the invasion, including designer merchandise, as well as a firearm suspected to have been used in the commission of the crime.
This arrest follows an earlier arrest made in December 2025, when Pedro Rodriguez was taken into custody and charged in connection with the home invasion. Rodriguez’s arrest marked the first significant development in the case following the November incident.
Third Suspect Still Unidentified
Law enforcement officials have indicated that a third individual, captured on surveillance footage during the home invasion, has not yet been identified or located. Authorities continue to pursue leads in an effort to identify and apprehend the remaining suspect.
The case remains active, and additional developments are expected as investigators continue to gather evidence and build the case. Prosecutors may pursue further charges depending on the outcome of the investigation and the extent of each individual’s involvement.
The incident has raised concerns regarding residential security and the vulnerability of high-profile individuals to targeted criminal activity. The nature of the charges reflects the severity of the alleged conduct and underscores the priority law enforcement agencies place on identifying and arresting those responsible.
