The Texas Tech student who made fun of Charlie Kirk’s death at a memorial service was taken into custody for disruptive behavior and aggression.
Camryn Giselle Booker, an 18-year-old, was reportedly captured on video engaging in an argument with another individual in the campus free speech zone.
Booker was arrested for celebrating Charlie Kirk‘s death with disrespectful remarks and dancing at a vigil.
The incident, captured on video, showed 18-year-old Camryn Giselle Booker shouting offensive words like Screw you all, your friend is dead, he was shot in the head.
@cambo_again “R.I.P. Charlie” was all my sign said. It’s all I wanted to say. I wanted to pay respects and give others the opportunity to join me. While I connected with many like-minded people and joined them in prayer, some folks were there to mock and taunt. After praising a political assassination, she struck my hat from my head. I told the campus police, who were as professional as they come, to drop the charges. I’ve just been so tired of the hate and anger in this country, so I wanted her and I to just walk away. But it was too late. Pray for her. She let her emotions get the best of her. It’s easy to do at a time like this. But people need to see how ideologies like hers have turned sweet, kind people into people who will celebrate, dismiss, or justify murder. Demons are real. Evil is real. Pray for the Kirk family and please pray for this girl as well. #charliekirk #prayforcharlie #pray
Definitely picked the wrong school to taunt the death of Charlie Kirk.
Thanks Texas Tech. https://t.co/yXdRZ0H2zg
