Three Tennessee men are facing multiple felony charges after allegedly kidnapping a 17-year-old at gunpoint and forcing him to dance on a Facebook livestream.
Kameron Eggleston, 22, and Wardell Bufford, 23, are in custody and charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, sexual solicitation of a minor, and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. Damon Frazier, 21, faces the same charges but had not been booked as of Wednesday afternoon.
Memphis police said they received a tip last Monday about a livestream showing a fully naked minor being assaulted and forced to dance. According to authorities, the victim reported that the incident began when the three men came to his apartment searching for a friend who wasn’t home. When the boy said he didn’t know the friend’s whereabouts, the suspects allegedly forced him outside at gunpoint.
Video evidence reportedly shows Frazier removing the victim’s clothing, while Eggleston held the boy at gunpoint and forced him into a vehicle. Bufford allegedly drove the group to Greenbriar Apartments in Frayser, where Eggleston allegedly livestreamed the assault, forcing the victim to dance while pointing a firearm at him.
Eggleston is being held on a $400,000 bond, and Bufford on a $500,000 bond at the Shelby County Jail. Both are scheduled for a court appearance Thursday.
