Tory Lanez is taking it straight back to Toronto with his latest visual for “Hasty Market // Toronto,” and the new video feels like a trip through the city that helped shape the rapper into the artist he is today.
The official music video for the track featuring HollywoodSos has arrived, giving fans another visual from Lanez’s latest project, Made You Think I Was Gone …But. The song runs for more than six minutes and is one of the standout records from the album, which was released through One Umbrella Records in July 2026.
The title alone lets you know exactly where Lanez is taking listeners. “Hasty Market // Toronto” is heavily rooted in the culture, neighborhoods and experiences connected to his hometown. Instead of simply using Toronto as a backdrop, the record turns the city into part of the story.
Throughout the track, Lanez reflects on his Toronto upbringing while delivering the type of gritty street-focused storytelling fans have come to expect from his rap records. The second half of the song specifically leans into his connection to the city, touching on memories, growing up, making money and the environment that surrounded him.
HollywoodSos joins Lanez for the latter portion of the record, adding another voice to the Toronto-centered story. The collaboration gives the track an even more local feel while keeping the focus on the experiences and energy associated with the city.
The new visual brings that energy to life with a cinematic presentation that matches the darker tone of the record. Rather than feeling like a simple performance video, the visual leans into the atmosphere of Toronto and the world Lanez is describing through his music.
“Hasty Market // Toronto” is also part of a much larger project for Lanez. Made You Think I Was Gone …But features 23 tracks and includes other songs such as “Revenge of Fargo,” “Crodie From The 9 // Guy In My City,” “Jalen Brunson,” “Many Men Pt. 2,” “GYMR,” “9Side Bodmon” and “Scarborough to Dubai.”
The project keeps the guest appearances relatively limited, with HollywoodSos appearing on “Hasty Market // Toronto” and VV$ KEN appearing on “Many Men Pt. 2.” That keeps much of the spotlight on Lanez himself and allows him to move between his rap and melodic styles throughout the album.
