2 Year Old Dies During Dental Procedure In Greensboro

A family in Greensboro is mourning the loss of their two-year-old child due to complications at a dental clinic.

Er’Mias Mitchell underwent a dental procedure to treat cavities in the company of his parents.

At 7 a.m. on Thursday morning, the boy’s parents brought him to Valleygate Dental Surgery Center in Greensboro for a procedure.

Unfortunately, an issue arose during the surgery that involved anesthesia. The family was informed of their son’s complications only when an ambulance arrived.

David Mitchell, the father, mentioned that everything was fine with him this morning.

He said his son was very healthy and in good spirits.

Mitchell explained that his heart, weight, and overall health were all good during the checks, but things took a turn once he was taken to the back.

According to the parents, nurses informed them that the boy’s lung collapsed while he was en route to the hospital unaccompanied by them.

Er’mias underwent anesthesia to have his teeth capped due to tooth decay.

Mitchell asked, We were wondering where our son was. He had already been taken away in the ambulance, and we were thinking, why weren’t we informed?

They are now seeking explanations regarding the circumstances of this tragic event. They claim they were not kept informed about their son’s situation. Mitchell is longing for the return of his son.
