Florida Woman Accused Of Luring Men Into Letting Her Spend The night, Then Drugging And Stealing From Them.

MIAMI — A Florida woman has been arrested after police say she drugged and robbed multiple men she met at Miami bars and nightclubs.

Authorities identified the suspect as Sarah Jean Tavano, 39, and said she used a pattern of deception to gain access to victims’ homes and hotel rooms, where she allegedly slipped drugs into their drinks before stealing valuables.

Miami-Dade police said Tavano approached men at venues including Sugar and El Patio Wynwood, then convinced them to bring her to their residences or hotel rooms. Victims reported feeling dizzy, nauseous or disoriented after consuming drinks they believed were safe.

When the men regained consciousness, they discovered cash, watches, jewelry, phones and other valuables missing, according to police reports.

In one case, a victim reported his $38,000 Rolex watch and $1,500 in cash were taken.

Police say they linked Tavano to at least three separate incidents between late 2025 and early 2026.

  • October 2025: A man reported waking up to find expensive jewelry and bags missing from his condominium. Police later matched fingerprints at the scene to Tavano.

  • December 2025: Another man said his wallet and phone were stolen, and later discovered unauthorized charges totaling tens of thousands of dollars.

  • December 2025: A victim at a hotel reported being drugged and robbed of cash and a luxury watch.

Tavano was arrested at a rooftop bar in Miami where she had been seen previously, police said. During the arrest, officers reportedly recovered:

  • A bag of suspected cocaine

  • Pills

  • A bottle of Jägermeister with powder residue

  • Other drug-related paraphernalia

Police say the evidence suggests Tavano may have used drugs to incapacitate her victims.

Tavano faces multiple charges, including:

  • Strong-arm robbery

  • Organized fraud

  • Grand theft

  • Burglary of an occupied dwelling

  • Food or water poisoning

  • Possession of controlled substances

Her bond was reportedly set at approximately $55,000, and authorities required proof that the funds were not obtained through criminal activity.

Police Reminder

Miami-Dade police urged nightlife patrons to remain cautious, advising individuals to avoid accepting drinks from strangers, keep beverages within sight, and stay with trusted friends when going out.

Tavano is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Authorities continue to investigate whether additional incidents may be linked to her.
