Buena Vista, Mich. — Police have identified the woman who threw hot coffee at a McDonald’s manager on Tuesday, November 4, after receiving tips from the public.

The episode occurred at the McDonald’s located at 3700 Dixie Highway. According to police and witnesses, the woman became angry during a dispute over a refund. She reportedly removed the lid from her coffee cup and hurled the hot beverage at the manager, causing burns to the employee’s back and arm.
