Second-Largest Gang Takedown In Queens History, 32 Arrested.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz detailed the operation during a press conference at her Kew Gardens office, where officials highlighted several violent incidents tied to the alleged gang.

One example included a 2022 shooting in St. Albans, where a stray bullet struck a 15-year-old girl as she studied in her home. She survived the injury.

According to Katz, this incident was just one of many acts of violence attributed to the group.

“We allege that these defendants have become the most violent gang in Queens County, creating fear and violence,” Katz said.

In total, 32 individuals—many of them teenagers—are named in a 97-count indictment that includes charges of murder, conspiracy, weapons possession, and additional offenses dating back to 2021. Investigators say the gang is responsible for at least 13 shootings, including three homicides, several occurring in broad daylight.

Prosecutors allege the gang’s leader, a rapper from Queens Village, supplied firearms to local teens and encouraged them to shoot rival groups to elevate their status. Katz noted that one defendant became so notorious for daytime shootings that he earned the nickname “Broad Day.”

Surveillance footage from 2024 shows two alleged members opening fire outside a McDonald’s in Cambria Heights around 3 p.m., shocking but not injuring customers inside.

Another 2024 shooting in St. Albans—carried out by a 15-year-old suspect, according to police—left 66-year-old William Alcindor dead after he was struck while driving. His vehicle then veered into a 23-year-old woman on the sidewalk, severely injuring her.

The NYPD arrested 23 of the defendants early Wednesday morning, all of whom are now in custody. Six others had previously been detained. Authorities say three additional suspects remain at large.
