Sexyy Red ain’t switching up for nobody, the St. Louis rapper is back with her brand new project Yo Favorite Trappa Favorite Rappa, and if you was expecting her to go industry or clean it up… yeah, that’s not happening. Shorty doubled ALL the way down.
The 18-track tape is straight energy — loud beats, wild lyrics, and that same raw vibe that had everybody outside going crazy to “Pound Town” and “SkeeYee.” This is club music, car music, party music… don’t overthink it.
Production-wise, she locked in with heavy hitters like Tay Keith, Metro Boomin, and ATL Jacob, so you already know the beats knocking crazy. It’s that bass-heavy, trunk-rattling sound that don’t let up.
She also brought some names with her. Key Glock pops up on the project, adding that street feel to the mix, and the rest of the features slide through without taking the spotlight off her. This still HER show.
If you been following since Hood Hottest Princess, you already know what time it is. Sexyy Red not trying to prove she lyrical — she here to turn up, talk crazy, and make songs that stick in your head whether you like it or not.
And that’s exactly why people tapped in.
Early reactions? Pretty much what you’d expect. Fans calling it another set of bangers, critics still talking about “substance” — but let’s be real, that was never the point. She know her lane, and she running it.
Love it or hate it, Yo Favorite Trappa Favorite Rappa proves one thing: Sexyy Red know exactly what she doing — and she not slowing down anytime soon.
